Vintage Shops
Vintage Shops
Vintage is most definitely in, my friends. Whether you would like to believe it or not, old has most definitely become the mode of this decade. There have been countless song remakes and tributes to things of old. In fashion, clothes are taking on qualities of vintage styles. Collecting vintage-style paraphernalia has also become a trend. This now begs the question of going for the real thing – why settle for items that only SEEM vintage, when real vintage is so much better? This is why vintage shops are also becoming popular nowadays, and this is why we've taken it upon ourselves to try and create a site dedicated to vintage stores – for your convenience.
We at VintageShop.Com believe in the value of age, the same way that the stores we are going to list in our various directories believe in the value of age. We would like to make it clear that vintage shops are NOT antique shops – they are quite different. While antique shops sell items that could be hundreds of years old, vintage items are often defined as things that are ninety years old, tops (except in the case of wine, wherein vintage is the aged value of the drink). Vintage shops don't just sell ANY old item, however – the criteria of what they are willing to sell includes high quality and a hint of classic appeal (which means they were not “trendy” and would still be appreciated in years or decades to come).
We invite you to browse here, find vintage shops close to your home who focus on selling what is close to your heart. You might find something wonderful.
